Super Bowl 60: The Favorite: Philadelphia Eagles +675

Nick Sirianni's Chiefs Al Capone-style in New Orleans. Philadelphia's defense held Patrick Mahomes to 33 ing yards and intercepted him twice in the first half to pave the way towards a blowout victory. Josh Sweat and the Philadelphia Eagles defense led a stunning upset of the back-to-back Super Bowl champs. Vic Fangio's stop unit held the Chiefs under 250 total yards.

As always, the cost of winning caught up with the Eagles this off-season. Key contributors along the defensive line like Josh Sweat and Milton Williams left in free agency. But, Philadelphia managed to re-sign All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun.

Plus, Howie Roseman added talented players like Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell, Texas safety Andrew Mukuba and mammoth defensive tackle Ty Robinson in the 2025 NFL Draft to reinforce a defense that lost a few veterans this off-season. Roseman and his front office have been the best talent prognosticators in the NFL this decade, and this draft class helps to reinforce the league's best roster.

The Eagles' mammoth offensive line remains to clear holes for Saquon Barkley and protect Jalen Hurts, putting Philadelphia smack dab in the Super Bowl conversation. While Mahomes and the Chiefs will be back, as things stand, the Eagles are the team to beat in 2026.

Super Bowl 60 Value Bets: Cincinnati Bengals +1800

Joe Burrow is coming off the best season of his NFL receiving triple crown.

Unfortunately, the Bengals defense was a dumpster fire. Cincinnati lost six games when scoring 30 or more points. Joey Burrow’s boys also choked away a number of wins - two missed field goals, and multiple 10+ point leads entering the fourth quarter. The Bengals are very likely to see some positive regression on defense, as its hard to see that unit playing any worse than it did last season.

I’m betting on Al Golden to get the Bengals stop-unit turned around, and Cincinnati to get Trey Hendrickson back in the building after locking up their star receivers. The Bengals added an athletic force in Shemar Stewart to shore up their -rush, and picked linebackers Demetrius Knight in the second round and Barrett Carter in the fourth to help up their front seven. Third-round pick Dylan Fairchild can help protect Burrow instantly and will likely compete for a starting role.

Variance is sure to be on the Bengals side in 2025, and with Burrow and Chase destroying the competition, Cincinnati is the best Super Bowl 60 value bet.

Green Bay Packers +2200

With a few masterful off-season moves the Green Bay Packers are in the Super Bowl 60 conversation. The Packers mantra has been to get bigger, faster, and stronger heading into the 2025 season. Green Bay signed guard Aaron Banks in free agency and drafted 6'6 NC State tackle Anthony Belton in the second-round. The Packers brass is tired of getting pushed around in the postseason, and their off-season reflects that. Additionally, General Manager Brian Gutekunst made Matthew Golden the first Packers wide receiver drafted in the first round since 2002. Golden can stretch the field and win at all three levels, giving Jordan Love a clear outlet in the ing game.

, Love was hurt for most of the 2024 season. But, at his best Love’s an ascending quarterback talent. The former Utah State signal-caller has the ability to carve up the greatest defenses in the game. Love finished sixth in adjusted EPA per play, fifth in yards per attempt, 3rd in sack percentage, fifth in QBR and DVOA in 2024. Green Bay has now added a playmaker on the outside to complement their other weapons, and beefed up their offensive line to win in the trenches. I'm willing to bet on another productive season from the defense, giving Green Bay a Super Bowl ceiling.

Making A Betting Strategy For Super Bowl 60

Crafting a winning Super Bowl betting strategy begins long before the first kickoff of the regular season. Assessing offseason changes, coaching adjustments, and previous performances are crucial factors.

You're likely to get the best betting value on a team if you place a bet before the season, but there are times in the regular season and even playoffs when you can still place a smart bet. Keep an eye on the odds, as they fluctuate throughout the year due to injuries, trades, and team performance. Acting swiftly when you spot favorable odds ensures maximizing potential winnings, as odds can shift dramatically over time at NFL sportsbooks.

The general key to crafting a betting strategy for Super Bowl odds is comparing a team's likelihood of winning in your mind to where they are on the odds board. Finding a team much more likely to win than the odds indicate is the smartest bet you can make. This strategy holds true for most futures odds, including NFL award odds.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been a powerhouse lately, winning three of the last five Super Bowls. Led by coach Andy Reid and QB Patrick Mahomes, you can expect the Chiefs at the top of these odds as long as they're around.

The biggest recent Super Bowl underdog was the 2017 Eagles, who beat Brady’s Patriots in the final. They even did so after their No. 1 QB, Carson Wentz, went down with an injury late in the season. Backup Nick Foles took over under center and earned Super Bowl MVP honors to deliver great preseason odds value to Philly’s Super Bowl 52 bettors.
